Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our SaskPower account team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction and supervision, with a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to crew leaders and site crews to ensure daily objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assigned crews, ensuring work scopes are completed safely and on time.
  • Work closely with the Electrical Services Manager and Engineer/Project Manager to ensure client requirements are met and project timelines are achieved.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Collaborate with the EHS department to investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:
  • Registered Red Seal Interprovincial Electrical Journeyman Ticket
  • 7+ years industrial experience, with 3+ years supervision experience
  • SaskPower construction experience preferred
  • Substation and/or High Voltage apparatus construction preferred
  • Thorough understanding of CEC and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills, with a focus on safety and quality
