Utility Worker

As a Utility Worker in Environmental Services, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position involves performing general repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and disinfecting, with due consideration for the well-being of others. You will work under the supervision of the Supervisor, Facility Support Services, and participate in On-the-Job Training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and methods, as well as excellent communication skills. Knowledge of other languages, particularly French, is an asset. About You- Grade 12/GED required or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods that apply to a health care setting is an asset
- Good communication skills are essential
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Casual relief positions
$19.26 - $20.02 Hourly
