Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Delish Cafe is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, kitchen helpers, and other support staff.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food meets our high quality standards and is prepared and served safely.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that orders are placed and received as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Site Environment: Noisy.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
