Job Title: Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and performing various financial calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger and journal entries
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week
