About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Agriculture Specialist to join our team at Brandt. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing our Precision Agriculture strategy at the field level for our assigned stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Support of Technology-Related Hardware and Services
    • Lead the sale of technology-related hardware and services for assigned locations
  • Data Service Sales
    • Sell value-added data services, including profit mapping and crop intelligence
    • Promote machine connectivity and its operational efficiency benefits
  • Customer Advisory Services
    • Advise customers on data extraction and management decisions
  • Training and Development
    • Train local service and sales teams on machine optimization
    • Train parts and sales teams on new technology items
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Regularly communicate with the Precision AG Lead to determine budget numbers and develop a plan to reach those goals
Requirements
  • Uphold the Brandt standard for customer service
  • Knowledge of John Deere Precision Agriculture products is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work shift work and/or weekends during peak seasons
  • Regular travel to customer sites
Preferred Qualifications
  • IT background or education
  • Sales experience
  • Proven track record of building long-term relationships with clients
  • History of meeting or exceeding sales targets
