About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Kainaan Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate materials and tools required for projects
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in masonry
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 to 44 hours of work per week
