Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Burrito Gringo Mexican Grill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Work Schedules: Plan and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise Food Preparation Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff to ensure high-quality food products are produced in a timely manner.
- Train Staff: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service management
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
