Job Title: Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at NOT GUILTY PLEA paralegal Professional Corp. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with administrative tasks, document preparation, and court coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate administrative services, including scheduling court trials and managing court staff.
  • Draft contracts, prepare promissory notes, and draw up wills, mortgages, and other legal documents.
  • Take legal action on landlord and tenant matters, including receiving affidavits, declarations, and affirmations.
  • Administer oaths and establish work priorities for court staff.
  • Assist with court experience, including trials in Provincial and Territorial Court.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent position, 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
