About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at Ammega Canada. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Manager and contributing to the overall success of our Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary support for the HR Manager in all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and HR administration.
  • Assist the HR Manager in managing internal HRIS platforms, including Ceridian Dayforce and Powerpay.
  • Coordinate communications with recruitment agencies and manage temporary staffing needs.
  • Manage employee records, handle onboarding for new employees, and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Draft contracts, employment letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Provide reporting to management teams on HR data and assist with global mobility and intra-company transfer procedures.
  • Support the Health and Safety team in providing critical data for WSIB claims and safety emergencies.
  • Organize training plans and host training sessions for employees.
  • Conduct HR legislation research and provide quality HR service to all Canadian Business Units.

Requirements:

  • Completed education in Human Resources is required, with a good understanding of Canadian employment law.
  • At least 1 year of experience in full-cycle recruitment is required.
  • Prior experience with Ceridian HR information systems is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, people skills, and a customer service-focused attitude.

Work Conditions:

  • Type of contract: Temporary 9 months, part-time.
  • Starting date: As soon as possible.
  • Office hours: 10.00 am – 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: between $30,000 per year (equivalent to $21 per hour).
  • This is an on-site position, requiring attendance at the office 5 days a week.
