Dental Hygienist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our dental clinic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting good oral health habits.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
* Instruct and motivate patients in good oral health habits
* Assess dental hygiene and develop treatment plans
* Implement hygiene therapy techniques to achieve good oral health
* Collaborate with dentists, clinic staff, and dental clinic manager to maintain good oral health

Qualifications:
* Grade 12
* Graduate of a recognized dental hygiene program
* Current registration and licensure with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals
Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent communication skills and ability to develop rapport with staff and patients
* Ability to follow written and verbal directions
* Ability to operate related equipment
* Ability to carry out duties required and lift more than 5 kilograms
* Ability to work self-directed or as part of a team
* Knowledge and proficiency in electronic charts and dental software programs
