Job Title: Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at New Westminster Sedation & General Dentistry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting dentists and hygienists with patient care, preparing dental instruments and materials, and maintaining a clean and organized dental environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Order and maintain dental supplies and materials
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other dental staff
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dental team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities
  • Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
