Job Title: UX Content Strategist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Content Strategist to join our team at Myticas Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for creating effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences.

About the Role:

  • Create user-centered content strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop high-quality digital content that meets the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver user-centered digital products.
  • Analyze data and feedback to continuously improve digital experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in UX and content design to advise on strategy and lead the design and ongoing renewal of government web content and digital services.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience creating content strategies, inclusive writing, and user-centered design for high-quality digital experiences.
  • Experience communicating complex information in a way that is clear and easy to understand for technical and non-technical team members and end users.
  • Knowledge of government policies, standards, and legislation relating to digital service delivery (Digital Service Standard, Simpler, Faster, Better Services Act).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with current web trends (e.g., analytics and design), French Language, and accessibility standards (FLSA, AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA).
  • Experience delivering digital products and services.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with agile product development tools and techniques (Miro, Figma, Jamboard, Mural, etc.) to build prototypes and user-centered digital products.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in UX and content design to advise on strategy and lead the design and ongoing renewal of government's web content and digital services.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate visually as well as in verbal and written formats.
  • Relationship building skills to liaise with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Government of Ontario web standards, governance, and legislative framework.
  • Experience editing content.
  • Experience converting variable source document formats into accessible content.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
