Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barricade Personnel to join our team at Holcim, a leading construction company. As a Barricade Personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by setting up and tearing down traffic controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
  • Set up and tear down traffic controls, including barricades and signage
  • Maintain a safe work area by ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Knowledge of traffic safety and control procedures
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as double axle trucks and tractor trailers
  • Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
