About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IM/IT department, you will be responsible for the requirement gathering, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for primarily clinical information management and technology solutions and functions across our organization and its external clients.

You will work closely with our clinical and business stakeholders to collaborate on the rationalization of disparate systems and the implementation of our OPOR strategy. Your expertise will be essential in providing support across the organization to leverage IT applications aligned with our strategic mission, vision, and goals.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related discipline, with 1-3 years of experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis, or systems support. Experience with healthcare information systems and terminology, as well as certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management, would be an asset.

Hours
  • Long-assignment, Full-time Positions; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
  • Approximately 12 months (assignment length is subject to change)
Compensation and Benefits

$33.14 - $41.42 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
