Field Services Specialist

**Job Summary**

Strescon Limited is seeking a highly skilled Field Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our construction group, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation, alignment, and finalization of components on various construction sites.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with the installation, alignment, and finalization of components, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Generate and submit daily reports, summarizing work activities and field variance reports to facilitate effective project management.
  • Prepare the worksite for installation, reviewing construction drawings, surveying the job site, laying out the building, and planning lifts to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Participate in on-site planning meetings to discuss project progress, address any concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Interact with customers, internal teammates, and onsite representatives to foster strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Track and enter work hours, submitting them for approval in a timely manner.
  • Ensure personal and crew safety in accordance with government and company standards, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols.

**Requirements**

  • Completion of a post-secondary technical college program in civil, mechanical, building engineering, carpentry, or an equivalent field.
  • Ability to read a measuring tape and construction drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.

**Working Conditions**

  • Ability to handle physically demanding work in various environments, including construction sites and outdoors.
  • Fall arrest and rigging training is considered an asset, but will be provided if necessary.
  • Previous hands-on construction experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Travel to various work sites as required, with the ability to work at heights and in a team environment.
  • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
