Job Description
We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Low Incidence team for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will support assessment, skill development, and funding applications for alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) tools. Renfrew's CCN team is also a Level 3 Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) SGCD authorizer team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student access to curriculum and engagement in school activities
- Provide therapy intervention in one-to-one settings, small groups, classrooms, and universally in schools
- Work within school districts, independent schools, private ECS programs, and other settings in southern Alberta
Requirements
- A Degree/Masters (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proof of registration with ACSLPA
- Flexibility, organization, good planning/time management, and problem-solving skills
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
