We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade Development Coordinator to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Trade Development team, ensuring the smooth execution of marketing activities and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Support: Assist in the development of marketing materials, including presentations, programs, and trackers, to support the Trade Development team's efforts.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate trade shows, local events, and regional visits, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up communications.
- Communication and Administration: Serve as the initial point of contact for the Trade Development team, maintaining program and activity trackers, calendars, and brand information on SharePoint.
- Meeting and Conference Coordination: Coordinate meetings and conference calls, sending follow-up communications and meeting minutes as required.
- Market Updates: Communicate market updates, including internal bulletins, environmental, and government information, to relevant stakeholders.
- Purchasing and Shipping: Manage purchasing, shipping, and receiving of assigned supplier portfolios, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Supplier Brand Management: Maintain an understanding of supplier brand strategies, pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies, including shelf positioning.
- Office Administration: Maintain the SGWS office, including reception, conference rooms, kitchen, and greeting visitors, completing clerical and administrative functions as required.
- Administrative Support: Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including office assistance with scheduling and supply ordering.
- Education: College diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with the ability to build complex spreadsheets and formulas.
- Experience: 2 or more years of diverse marketing, invoicing, and administrative experience in the adult beverage industry.
- Soft Skills: Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive, with strong analytical, leadership, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Sitting and Typing: Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer.
- Occasional Walking and Lifting: Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amounts of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping, with occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
