Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join Honda Canada as a Regional Automotive Sales Manager - Western Zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the dealer network through customer-centric leadership and guidance, while also contributing to achieving the Western region's business objectives and strategies.

About the Role

  • Create monthly performance dashboards to demonstrate territory performance, identify gaps, and implement countermeasures.
  • Attend special events such as dealer training initiatives and road shows as required.
  • Conduct dealer staff training, provide professional dealer visits, and increase penetration to meet company objectives.
  • Manage dealer concerns to their satisfaction.
  • Assist the Manager of Field Operations by providing regular feedback for weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating meetings.
  • Promote HFS Retail finance, lease, and end-of-term, wholesale, warranty, and used cars to dealers for Honda, Acura, MC/ATV & Power equipment.
  • Work with Honda Dealers within the assigned territory to achieve HFS-specific sales and service targets.
  • Coordinate and participate in quarterly reflection presentation meetings with Management, colleagues, and Honda Canada.
  • Ensure customer and dealer satisfaction by working with Honda Canada to address specific issues.
  • Increase HFS exposure at the dealer and public level through participation in industry trade shows and promoting point-of-purchase materials.

Requirements

  • A university degree or college diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit or marketing, or a related field, is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • The ability to travel as needed and adapt to business needs and requirements is essential.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills are necessary, with previous leadership experience required.
  • Initiative, integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy are crucial.
  • Knowledge of all Honda product lines (Automotive, Motorcycle/ATV, and Power/Equipment) is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders are required.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
