K & A Finishing Carpentry Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade. You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
