Job Title: Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Category 12 Brewing. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition ingredients and supplies.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Recruit and hire staff, manage kitchen operations, and create new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
Requirements:
  • Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in culinary arts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
