Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Checker Cab & Deliveries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our transportation team, ensuring seamless delivery of our services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on our vehicles.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff to join our transportation team.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of vehicles and equipment.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills. We are looking for a team player who is able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our goals.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30-40 hours per week.
