Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to join our team at Checker Cab & Deliveries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on company vehicles and equipment
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff to support the growth of our operations team
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operations
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
