Transportation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at All Directions Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor department performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Recruit and supervise staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
- Manage finances and budget, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
- Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- 11-15 years of experience in transportation management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
