About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Spencer Gifts in Kingston, ON. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and professional development.
Job Summary
The Lead Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability. This includes developing staff, controlling expenses, and implementing effective merchandising and inventory control strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Develop and implement plans to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and employee performance
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform retail strategies
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar industry
- Proven track record of improving sales and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
