Job Title: Handyman/Driver of Truck with Dump Trailer

At Tabitha, we are seeking a skilled Handyman/Driver of Truck with Dump Trailer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance in apartment units across the Niagara region.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of apartment units and prevent costly repairs.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Driving and Truck Operations:

  • Operate a truck with dump trailer to transport equipment, supplies, and personnel as needed.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the truck and trailer.

Record Keeping and Organization:

  • Maintain accurate records of performed maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Keep hand tools, power tools, and supplies organized and clean.

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
