Maintenance Technician - Part-time

Realstar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lyndon Place. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained and providing excellent customer service to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct daily visual inspections of mechanical, HVAC, and sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Respond to and address resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and municipal regulations, including water testing and other requirements.
  • Supervise service providers and contractors to ensure quality work is performed.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Background in residential property management or related business experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and have a basic understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to lift and push heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture, and appliances.
