About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at SPICE ENROUTE INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and pastries for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development and Execution: Prepare dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Pastry Preparation: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers.
  • Decorating and Presentation: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work language of English and a work term of 35 to 44 hours per week.
