We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at SPICE ENROUTE INC.
Job Summary:The Specialty Foods Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of specialty foods, including bread, pastries, and desserts. This is a key role in our bakery and requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes.
- Baking: Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including wedding and specialty cakes.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
