Job Title: Specialty Foods Baker

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at SPICE ENROUTE INC. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Pastry Preparation: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including frosting and decorating cakes and baked goods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
