Job Description

Elby Professional Recruitment is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, this role will be responsible for managing high-volume payroll functions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Ontario payroll and be familiar with Dayforce software. They will also possess strong analytical skills and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume payroll functions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Aid in the testing and implementation of new payroll software
  • Assist with year-end process and tax reporting
  • Resolve payroll issues as they occur by working closely with the finance team

Requirements:

  • PCP designation or close to completion
  • At least 2 years of experience in high-volume payroll
  • Experience with Dayforce software an asset
