About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Torrent (Redstone) Corporation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and ensure that patients understand their treatment options and any potential side effects.
  • Preventative Care: Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases, and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and ensure that all relevant information is shared with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a family medicine setting is preferred.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities are required.
