About the Role

Vanguard Medical Clinic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and ensure that patients understand their treatment plans.
  • Preventative Care: Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases, and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine or a related field is required.
  • Certifications: Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities is required.
