Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
  • Preventive Care: Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases, and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on various health topics, including disease prevention, management, and treatment options.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure they are providing high-quality care and adhering to our corporation's standards.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Previous experience in family medicine or a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
