Cleantech Partnerships Development Specialist

At Simon Fraser University, we are seeking a Cleantech Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in promoting research opportunities and expanding academic-industry partnerships, with a focus on cleantech innovation.
About the RoleThe Cleantech Partnerships Manager supports SFU's position as a partner of choice by establishing and managing relationships with industry partners, researchers, and stakeholders. This involves fostering connections internally and externally to develop and commercialize cleantech opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, creative thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field and five years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enact long-term growth strategies to support cleantech research and innovation.
- Pitch new business opportunities and increase revenue through lead generation.
- SUPPORT RESEARCHERS IN THE ARTICULATION OF INNOVATION POTENTIAL AND RESEARCH.
- BUILD EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY PARTNERS, RESEARCHERS, AND STAKEHOLDERS.
