We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at TACO TIME. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, and prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure a clean kitchen and work areas.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset, with a permanent position and 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: Fluency in English.
