Job Overview:

Sales Associates at EightSix Network provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance. They work collaboratively with their supervisors and other sales associates in various departments, including Lumber, Building Materials, Paint, Hardware, Electrical, Plumbing, Seasonal, and Tool Rental.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ask open-ended questions to determine customer needs and level of expertise
  • Multitask to provide efficient service
  • Describe features and benefits of merchandise
  • Explain project requirements and necessary products
  • Maintain assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and in-stock
  • Perform heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Pick, organize, and verify orders for delivery or pickup
  • Utilize computer terminals and/or portable phones to check inventory, look up orders, and notify customers
  • Lift merchandise to organize for customer pickup

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in fast-paced customer service environments
  • Background in sales-driven environments
  • Excellent communication and reading skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Trade experience
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Attention to detail
