We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Pristine Promotions. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and ensure they meet our high standards.
- Special Cuts and Orders: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, and ensure they are accurately weighed and packaged.
- Standard Cuts and Trimming: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and ensure they are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Meat Preparation and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, and ensure they are accurately labeled and stored.
- Sales and Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate manual cutting utensils and slicing machines, and ensure they are properly maintained and cleaned.
As a Meat Cutter at Pristine Promotions, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a meat cutting or processing environment.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate weighing and packaging of meats.
