Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Finch Super Market & Meat. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Work EnvironmentOur butcher shop is a fast-paced environment where you will work with a variety of meats and equipment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Responsibilities- Cut and trim meat to customer specifications
- Prepare standard cuts of meat for display and sale
- Wrap and package prepared meats for customers
- Remove bones from meat and prepare for sale
- Weigh meats for sale and price products
- Cut poultry into parts and prepare for sale
- Supervise other butchers and meat cutters as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or meat department
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Free parking available
