Airborne fire suppression is a challenging yet rewarding career path that requires expertise in both aircraft operations and wildfire behavior. As an Aerial Firefighting Pilot with Forest Protection Limited, you will play a vital role in protecting Canada's forests from devastating wildfires.

About the Job:
This seasonal opportunity is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where you will join a team of experienced pilots operating Piper Aerostar and Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft. Your primary responsibility will be to transport loading crews and equipment to reload bases around New Brunswick, while also assisting with various loading duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with Forest Protection Limited's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform all key job duties and any other assigned by the Flight Operations Management team from time to time
- Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
- Complete required pre-flight and post-flight paperwork in a timely and thorough manner
- Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times

Requirements:
- Commercial Pilot License - Fixed wing
- At least 1000 hours of total time and 100hrs multi-engine PIC
- Valid IFR
- Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset
