Job Summary:

Tangerine, a leading digital bank in Canada, is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Analysis to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of Business Analysts, driving the continuous improvement and strategy of Tangerine's business analysis chapter, and championing a client-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage a team of Business Analysts, including coaching and educating the team on best practices, championing a high-performance environment, and implementing a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team.
  • Business Analysis: Drive the continuous improvement and strategy of Tangerine's business analysis chapter, champion a client-focused culture, and ensure solutions align with the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Leadership: Promote creative thinking to evolving business needs, drive optimization opportunities, and develop a sound knowledge of Tangerine's systems and external vendor processes.

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience: 5-10 years of business or operational analysis experience with at least 5 years in a management level position, completion of post-secondary business/technology/systems or related area degree, and previous experience operating in an Agile environment.
  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of banking business applications and keen interest in new and emerging technologies.
  • Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, energetic, personable, and thrives in a dynamic environment, proven ability to influence at the Senior Management level, and ability to act as a bridge between various stakeholders.
