Senior Manager, Business Analysis

Tangerine, Canada's leading direct bank, is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Business Analysis to lead our Digital Product and Experience (DPX) team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving excellence in requirements gathering, documentation, information management, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching and education on best practices to foster a high-performance environment.
  • Develop and implement the BA Chapter roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to drive business analysis excellence, leveraging your expertise in Agile methodologies and business analysis leadership.
  • Ensure the Business Analysis team provides deliverables that are clearly, accurately, and thoroughly documented and understood for both system and process changes.
  • Coach and mentor the team through the initiative process, developing and maintaining user stories, BRDs, requirements traceability matrices, and other project deliverables.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of business or operational analysis experience, with at least 5 years in a management-level position.
  • Completion of a post-secondary business/technology/systems or related area degree is required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience operating in an Agile environment and possessing an Agile mindset.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Experience in a Digital organization is an asset.
  • Demonstrated business analysis leadership and experience in large, cross-functional enterprise initiatives within a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Active participation and in-depth knowledge of the International Institute for Business Analysis (IIBA) BABOK (BA Body of Knowledge) is considered an asset.
  • Direct project management experience and/or education is considered an asset.
  • Technical background is considered an asset.
