DARE, a program by ITREB, offers religious education and support to individuals with diverse abilities aged 18 and above. Sessions are held monthly.

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development and Implementation: Collaborate with the Principal, Teacher Mentors, and team members to develop and adapt the curriculum for diverse needs. Implement inclusive teaching methods and best practices for an accessible learning experience.
  • Participant Engagement and Support: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, providing individualized support to participants based on their learning styles and abilities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with participants, their families, and stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in inclusive education and teaching methodologies.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Implement assessment strategies to monitor participant progress and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports on participant achievements and classroom dynamics.

About You

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a compassionate approach to teaching.

Compliance: Teachers are expected to adhere to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the privacy, inclusivity, and well-being of program participants.
