Senior Construction Manager for Large-Scale Projects

CloudVital seeks an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects in Brampton. This is a full-time contract position that requires strong project management skills, engineering expertise, and leadership abilities.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate and manage construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Develop project schedules, timelines, and budgets
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress, make adjustments as necessary, and ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and submit project status reports to management and stakeholders
  • Resolve project-related issues or conflicts that may arise
  • E nsure project safety and compliance with environmental regulations
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related materials

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a construction project coordinator or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material management principles, and project planning
  • Ability to plan, organize, and see the big picture
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • BSc/BA in construction management, architecture, engineering, or relevant field
  • Proven experience working on construction projects
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Experience in project management software
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
