People Corporation is seeking a driven and experienced Group Insurance Sales Professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in group insurance products to build relationships with businesses and provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.

As a Group Insurance Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and presenting compelling proposals to prospective clients. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve individual and team targets for group insurance products, including retirement, administration, wellness, HR, and other related services.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their specific requirements and challenges.
  • Present customized solutions that align with client objectives and demonstrate the value proposition of People Corporation's offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target businesses.
  • Ensure that all customer-facing materials, information, and products adhere to corporate branding guidelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Account Management, Marketing, Underwriting, Pricing, Finance, Service Managers, Practice Leads, and others, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Qualifications:
  • Valid and current LLQP license.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets in the group insurance industry.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business development within group insurance, specifically focusing on retirement, administration, wellness, HR, and related products.
  • Post-secondary education and training in commerce, sales & marketing is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of group insurance, retirement, and related product sales, client service, and support.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in lead generation, sales stages, closing deals, and procuring new business in B2B settings.
  • Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills, with the ability to effectively market organizational strengths.
  • Exceptional active listening skills and the ability to identify prospective pain points and needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional communication skills demonstrated through compelling sales presentations and client interactions.
