Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Edo Japan Lakeshore. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to meet customer expectations
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
  • Overtime required during peak periods
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
