We are seeking a highly skilled General Store Manager to lead our retail store operations at Canadian Tire Gas Bar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
- Merchandise Management: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, locate and select products for resale, and develop effective inventory management strategies.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities to increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and promote a culture of safety among staff.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 42.5 hours per week.
