General Store Manager

Canadian Tire Gas Bar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct and control daily store operations, manage staff, and assign duties to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
- Market Research: Study market trends and consumer demand to inform merchandise and services offerings.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing plans to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Staffing: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure a high-performing team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 42.5 hours per week.
