About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Trade Coordinator to join our team at Moose Knuckles Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the export and import of goods on a global level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external business partners, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of export and import activities.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary export and customs documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouse partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and process export shipment bookings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Distribute documents to customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance.
  • Communicate with partners to ensure pickup and delivery schedules are met, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Research and identify the most cost-effective transportation options for moving goods.
  • Process Canadian duty drawbacks and handle goods classification (HTS code) as needed.
  • Coordinate with Canadian 3PL providers for Canadian store shipments.
  • Prepare documentation for one-time shipments via FedEx or UPS.
  • Handle sample shipments via UPS/FedEx.
  • Perform other tasks related to global trade and logistics as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain/logistics, preferably in the apparel and fashion industry.
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and a team player with strong follow-up skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with USA Fish and Wildlife is an asset.
  • Bilingual - English and French.
