Assistant Professor Position in Functional Genomics

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the area of functional genomics. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence and a demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Research FocusThe successful candidate will be expected to pursue innovative research in functional genomics, leveraging novel approaches and technologies to advance our understanding of human diseases and identify new drug targets. The candidate will also be expected to develop and apply computational biology and artificial intelligence approaches to functional genomics.
Teaching and MentorshipThe successful candidate will be expected to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on developing and delivering courses in functional genomics and related areas. The candidate will also be expected to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in their research group.
RequirementsThe successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field by the time of appointment, with a strong track record of research excellence and a demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students. The candidate must also have a strong record of publications in leading journals and a demonstrated ability to secure external funding for their research.
