Job Title: Powertrain Engine Calibration Engineer

Job Summary:

The Powertrain Engine Calibration Engineer will be responsible for developing engine calibrations to meet LEV II and LEV III emission standards while delivering world-class driveability. This role will work closely with base engine hardware releasing groups, scientific labs, and vehicle teams to develop and implement best practice design and calibration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engine calibrations to meet emission standards
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practice design and calibration solutions
  • Perform verification testing in accordance with powertrain system functional objectives
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement calibration solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent from an ABET accredited University
  • Years of experience in emission systems calibration development
Preferred Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Master of Science in Computer Science preferred from an ABET accredited University
  • Experience with Hardware In the Loop development/verification and Database management
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Data Acquisition, and Excel
Additional Requirements:
  • Must live in Ontario
  • Must be able to travel to US for occasional meetings
  • Driving Required
  • Hybrid position
